Textile Woven Designs

The concept of the collection revolves around the theme of Perfect Imperfections. The theme focuses on updating the rustic look with a modern take on it.

The Project focuses on identifying the key element of the inspiration to create a double cloth structure making.

The jacquard collection takes its inspiration from the play of light hitting dried flower petals.
The translucency, colour play and freshness brings about a joyful twist to the entire collection.

The woven collection is inspired from the texture and colors of tree bark. The samples are seen on home furnishings like cushions, couches etc.

The project was to challenge myself to create interesting woven textures with 4 shafts and different materials found around me.
