Eco-Pack: Banana Fiber Edition

Abstract

I never thought banana pant, that I see everyday had so

much wonder in it. I started by looking into the various layers

on the trunk of the plant. Each layer has its on beauty.

The project is a journey through exploration of the banana

plant parts to understand it various structures better.

Through this understanding the material which is thrown out

as a waste material after banana harvest is explored to put

to better use.

My project in particular focuses on exploring the shock

property of banana pseudo stem structures and

in various forms

The document also mention how it could be a sustainable

replacement for one time use plastic bubble wrap paper

and provide extra monitory benefits to local banana farmers,

could be an addition to the Banana fiber craft clusters and

also provide employment opportunities through
